In the heart of Grasse, the world's perfume capital, stands a beacon of olfactory artistry that has defied time—Molinard.

Established in 1849 by Hyacinthe Molinard, this venerable house began its journey crafting delicate floral waters and Eaux de Cologne, captivating a clientele that included none other than Queen Victoria. 

By 1900, Molinard had expanded into a distinguished factory, its distillery's metalwork masterfully designed by Gustave Eiffel, the visionary behind Paris's iconic tower. This era marked collaborations with illustrious glassmakers like René Lalique and Baccarat, resulting in perfume bottles that were as much masterpieces as the fragrances they encased. 

The roaring 1920s witnessed the birth of Habanita, a revolutionary scent that introduced vetiver—a note traditionally reserved for men—into women's perfumery, symbolizing the bold spirit of the era's emancipated women. 

Today, under the stewardship of Célia Lerouge-Bénard, the fifth generation and first female leader, Molinard continues to blend tradition with innovation. The house offers immersive workshops, inviting enthusiasts to delve into the art of perfume creation. With a legacy spanning over 170 years, Molinard remains a testament to enduring craftsmanship and the timeless allure of scent.
